Our Story

The Impactful Journey of Linda Sole Faul

Painting is my passion and my way of expressing the world around me. My work blends realism with a touch of fantasy, infused with vibrant colors and layered textures. Each painting begins outdoors, where I capture the essence of a scene through plein air studies. I then transform those impressions in my studio, building the surface with gesso and acrylic underpainting before refining the details with oil paint.

I’m inspired by the sweeping landscapes of the Southwest, the mountains and plains of Colorado, and the luminous beaches of Florida and California. My signature buffalo paintings, in particular, express my deep connection to the spirit and strength of the West. Art, for me, is a lifelong journey of exploration, color, and self-expression.
